1. Daemon watches ghost shows in his spare time, which automatically makes him a winner.
2. He uses the Source to fight, which is like getting hit by a nuclear blast.
3. Daemon really knows how to use a pen.
4. Charm is perhaps his most deadliest weapon. So are those dimples.
5. He’s an alien.

My name is Callie Hutton and the author of the Marriage Mart Mayhem series. Book two in the series, The Duke’s Quandary, features the ‘I want a perfect woman for my duchess’ Drake, Duke of Manchester and the loveable, bumbling, bespectacled, shy, botanist, Penelope.
Drake has only been the duke for a couple of years, and even though he was trained for the part, he never felt as if he was ready for it. His father died unexpectedly, and he was left with a grieving mother and five sisters in shock, and needing his comfort and support.
1. He manages to support and keep control of — to some degree — his five sisters and mother who were all feeling quite lost when their very active and loving father died unexpectedly.
2. Drake keeps to himself the insecurity and the feeling of not being ‘good enough’ so as not to upset those who depend on him.
3. Although he is strongly attracted to the worst possible woman in all of London, he keeps her at arms length.
4. And since he is attracted to the worst possible woman in all of London, he can’t keep his hands off her, and they end up in trouble.
5. Although Drake believes his very different duchess should remain apart from her science, the thing she loves the most (after him, of course), he pulls a major surprise for her at the end, which makes him the Ultimate Hero.
Drake started out stiff, cold, and seeming unloving. However, being subjected to the craziness of Penelope turns him into the man he was meant to be. Hmmm. So is Penelope the ultimate hero? No, Drake is. She’s just loveable.
